MICAH 6 OF AUSTIN

“What does the Lord require of you? To do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God.” - Micah 6:8

Micah 6 of Austin is a network of faith communities in the University of Texas campus area that work together to answer the call of Micah 6:8 to:

·     Do justice through education, dialogue, and advocacy.

·     Love kindness by compassionately serving those who come to us for assistance.

·     Walk humbly with God by providing opportunities for the spiritual growth of those we serve, our congregations, and other community partners.

Micah 6 Food pantry

The food pantry helps low-income individuals and families meet their most basic need for food and sustenance. Shoppers come from many walks of life: some have mental and physical disabilities, some are burdened with addictions, some are undocumented immigrants with families who do not qualify for government assistance, and some have unexpectedly experienced unemployment or other crisis and are unable to provide food for their families. All are welcome.
